CAMPS
English Summer Camp, 15 June - 15 July 2011

    The camp is specially designed to be thorough English teaching, working with children. The basic activities for this volunteer work include   teaching basic English and speaking English to 7-16 year old kids in an every day environment that difference from their regular school hours and home. Approximately 5-8 international volunteers from different countries will work and stay together. This program is ideal for college and university students but is open to anyone with an adventurous soul. We are receiving booking this camp volunteer.

For the camp days that you are volunteering in Mongolia, you will live in a wooden cabin or ger (Traditional Mongolian tent) with other volunteers and Mongolian teachers and teach them the beauty of English language. Food is usually provided on a campus condition, eating at certain time; 3 times a day, except tea-breaks of yogurt or milk but all the members will share the responsibility of cleaning - usually on a Rote basis. Each local organization will provide on one or two coordinators to help run the project. Volunteers will help to Mongolian teachers to organize some activities like as sports; concert performances; arts and creations; environmental conservation.

In your free time, you will explore Mongolian grasslands, investigate ancient temples, ride horses, barbeque mutton, and cook traditional Mongolian food. Also, when you are not volunteer teaching, you will have opportunities to undertake a wide range of adventurous activities, such as Mongolian wrestling, camel riding, rodeo competitions, archery contests, visiting traditional families, and enjoying the splendor of graceful Mongolian singing and dancing.
