Omnogov
Omnodov (South Gobi) is the largest but least populated aimag in Mongolia. It's not hard to see why humans prefer to live elsewhere.

It is locating in Central Mongolia (in Ovorkhangai aimag). In 1220 Chinggis Khaan decided to built the capital city of his vast Mongolian empire at Kharkhorin, 373 km south west of UB.

Amarbayasgalant Khiid
The star attraction of Selenge aimag, this monastery is considered the second most important in mongolia after Erdene Zuu Khiid in Kharkhorin.Besides being a one of the largest monasteries, Amarbayasgalant is also one of the most beautiful.

Khentii
Khentii is named after the impressive Khentii Nuruu range, Which covers the north-west corner of the aimag and part of the giant 1.2 million hectare Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area.
